Grades 9th-12th

Prepare to master the art of personal storytelling in this engaging week-long workshop led by an experienced English teacher. Students will explore strategies for creating well-structured, impactful essays that reflect their personal values and experiences, focusing on language, vocabulary, and transitions. They’ll learn how to write compelling opening lines, develop clear arguments, and end with memorable conclusions. The course also offers support for diverse learning styles, including techniques to assist students who write differently, such as those with dyslexia. Through hands-on practice and personalized feedback, students will build the skills and confidence to express themselves effectively, using storytelling techniques to convey their personality and experiences in various contexts.
