Foundations for Geometry Grades: 7 - 10

This five-day workshop is tailored to enhance the key skills essential for success in Geometry. Specifically designed for students who may have faced challenges in previous math courses, our approach combines engaging activities and hands-on learning in a small, collaborative classroom setting. Our goal is to build a strong foundation of skills, alleviating any anxiety surrounding Geometry.

Throughout the workshop, we will address major concepts covered in the Math Summer Packet, but a significant emphasis will be on reviewing essential math concepts from Algebra I and Middle School geometry concepts. This strategic approach ensures that students are well-prepared for a confident start in Geometry in the fall. Additionally, participants will receive valuable instruction on effective study skills, applicable not only to upcoming math classes but also to other Upper School courses.
