Prepare for a fantastic school year with our "Get Ready” Workshop, designed to help young learners build confidence and sharpen their skills in a supportive and engaging environment. This week-long camp reinforces essential academic fundamentals, such as reading fluency, phonics, spelling, and grammar, while also introducing key math concepts like addition, subtraction, and problem-solving strategies. Students will practice writing sentences and short paragraphs to strengthen their expressive skills and comprehension.
Beyond academics, the workshop emphasizes classroom routines and social skills, including collaboration, active listening, asking thoughtful questions, and transitioning between tasks. Through interactive games, creative exercises, and hands-on projects, students will make learning fun and rewarding, ensuring they feel prepared and excited for the year ahead in 1st or 2nd grade!
