Grade: 9

Prepare for a successful start to 9th grade with our week-long Foundations of Math and Physics workshop, specially designed for students who will be taking Physics and Algebra I or Physics and Geometry in the upcoming school year. This comprehensive program combines the essential math and scientific concepts needed for both subjects, ensuring students are ready to tackle the challenges ahead with confidence and ease.
Through engaging activities, hands-on projects, and collaborative learning, students will:
• Reinforce essential math skills: Build confidence in graphing, manipulating fractions, working with square roots, and mastering variables.
• Explore physics fundamentals: Gain practical experience with data analysis, graph creation, and interpreting relationships between variables through experiments and simulations.
• Bridge the gap: Review critical Algebra I and Geometry concepts, ensuring a seamless transition into their math courses.
• Develop study and problem-solving skills: Learn strategies for breaking down complex problems, organizing work, and applying mathematical reasoning in scientific contexts.
