Junior Staff 1
Description
The Junior Staff Program is open to campers 16 years old with previous successful SIT experience or 17 years olds on a case-by-case basis. A Junior Staff member's two week experience will be spent living in a cabin and working directly with our experienced staff members, shadowing them throughout the day. Junior Staff will gain valuable skills in becoming a leader; learning how to problem solve and how to create a fun and exciting environment for the campers with hands-on experience each day at camp. Junior Staff are still considered campers and a part of our Leadership Development Program. They will never be left alone with younger campers and will always be under the supervision of our experienced staff. Once per week they will check-in with the Leadership Development Coordinator to go over any questions, what they have learned throughout the week, and if they accomplished their goals they set for themselves.

All Leadership Development camps at Paradise Point Camp count as volunteer or service hours and staff are happy to sign off on paperwork or provide letters of completion or recommendation to successful Junior Staff after camp.
