Wed. Sept. 25 - Museum Field Trip
Take a step into the Mammal Hall and learn the secrets that have helped California wildlife survive and thrive in the unique biome that is Santa Barbara. Learn the secrets of Seal Blubber and Sea Otter fur, and why the black bear has reigned supreme in the Santa Ynez Mountains. Learn the tracks of coyote and compare them to those of our k9 companions! We will hone our observational skills and learn the ways of the wild.
For September Museum field trips, you will have two 45-minute programs:
1) A choice between our different labs/classes
AND
2) A choice between a Museum hall tour OR self-guided exploratory time in the Backyard.

Please note: Astronomy programs are available on Wed/Thurs AFTER October 1.
