Mon. Mar. 10 - AstronoMonday Field Trip
Take a step into the Mammal Hall and learn the secrets that have helped California wildlife survive and thrive in the unique biome that is Santa Barbara. Learn the secrets of Seal Blubber and Sea Otter fur, and why the black bear has reigned supreme in the Santa Ynez Mountains. Learn the tracks of coyote and compare them to those of our k9 companions! We will hone our observational skills and learn the ways of the wild.
This AstronoMonday field trip is appropriate for 5th-12th grades. Teachers can choose between two different themes when booking this visit. Field trips on Mondays at the Museum are from 10 AM - Noon and does not include a museum tour.
