Creekside Adventures, Island Foxes
Take a step into the Mammal Hall and learn the secrets that have helped California wildlife survive and thrive in the unique biome that is Santa Barbara. Learn the secrets of Seal Blubber and Sea Otter fur, and why the black bear has reigned supreme in the Santa Ynez Mountains. Learn the tracks of coyote and compare them to those of our k9 companions! We will hone our observational skills and learn the ways of the wild.
Are you curious about what lives in and near our Mission Creek Campus? Come join us for three days of exploring the diversity of life that lives in and near the creek. We will investigate the invertebrates, vertebrates, and plants that link our food webs together!
