Intro to 3D Printing and 3D Modeling/CAD
Description
This class will introduce students to the basics of CAD (computer aided design). Students will be split into two groups with 1st-4th graders using TinkerCAD and the older students learning to use OnShape, a fully fledged CAD software that could be used for real engineering projects or in the workforce. Students will learn the basics of DFM (design for manufacturability), designing parts specifically for 3D printing as well as how to export and set up their parts for 3D printing.
