Who should take this course?
Taking the next step from Prams, the Skiff is where we finalize the transition from sailing with a friend to confident singlehanded sailing! While a wet and sometimes capsize prone boat, the skiff rights from a capsize dry and becomes a huge confidence boost. Kids quickly grow confident, self reliant, and truly enjoy the challenge. This boat provides a great step to, or break from, racing - while growing skills for all future sailors. 

What course should my child take next?
Repeats are welcome! Confident students looking for more should think about our Optimist Race, 420 Race, Laser Race programs, or Scholastic racing programs. If you're not into racing yet, consider a 420 Adventure or Wings course like Venture!
