This week of camp is designed for middle school students who want to explore Clay and Design. "We Wear the Mask" is a poem written by the poet, Paul Lawrence Dunbar. Students will design and employ a variety of techniques including: slab-making, coiling, and other hand-building skills to craft a ceramic mask that explores some aspect of their personality that they do not often show as it relates to this poem.
