Community Service Sampler (grades 9-12)

Camp Snapshot: Campers will spend a week learning about the needs of our
community and performing community service. This is an excellent opportunity for students to learn about different service experiences and discover what issues and kinds of service matter most to them. Seven Hills students will earn five hours per day of service toward the graduation requirement. (Eligibility to earn hours for non-Seven Hills’ students is up to the student’s school).

Upper PE Course (10th grade)
July 21-25 and July 28-Aug. 1 |

This is a two-week program for Seven Hills rising 10th grade students only.
Instructor: Lindsey Steuer
Summer P.E. will follow, as closely
as possible, the established physical education curriculum for sophomores as stated in the current course description.
Students will be exposed to a variety of lifetime sports and activities as well as
fitness exercises that aim to provide stress relief to each student. Yoga and Pilates will be incorporated throughout the curriculum as well as self-defense. Students will also learn new workouts in the weight room and different fitness workouts they can
use outside of the classroom. Lifetime sports that will be taught include but are not limited to, golf, tennis, frisbee golf,
cornhole, badminton, and bowling.
