Our full day camp for campers grades 5-8 create their own schedule each week, choosing from a variety of activities. Classes run one week at a time from July 7- July 11.

3D Art
Use your imagination to create 3-dimensional objects with various materials.
ArtVentures
This class offers exciting ways to take ordinary materials and make something extraordinary. If you love to create and learn about art, this class is the right one for you. Join the fun for each new and exciting week of learning with new materials, ideas, and techniques.
Athletic Camp (Tennis Camp, Grades 4-8) Register separately.
This is for children registering for both Summer Place and Summer Tennis Athletic Camp (9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Blocks 1 and 2). You must register for Summer Athletic Camps separately.
Bistro Kids
(Double-block class) Learn how to cook like a chef! Prepare and cook your own lunch (and lunch for the counselors) including dessert.

Play some of your old time favorite, or the newest, board games.
Build This
Get ready to Build This! Each day you'll be presented with a picture or idea of what you need to build, along with a variety of materials to take on the challenge.
Camp Announcements and Podcast Team
Join the CAP Team to create daily lunch announcements and the new camp podcast. Campers will create the podcast crew interview guests to talk about fun summer camp topics. The podcast will video record fun clips to share with campers at the end of the week.
Camp Instagram
MPH summer camp is joining Instagram. Camp Instagram will share the fun that happens at camp!
Camper's Day Out
(Double-block class) A fun off-campus outing with different destinations each week. (Schedules are subject to change.) Weeks 1 and 4: Manlius Library & Ice Cream, Zoo, Movies, Bowling, Webster Pond Weeks 2 and 5: Butternut Creek, Miniature Golf, Clark Reservation, Big Don's, Chittenango Falls Weeks 3 and 6: Green Lakes, Zoo, Sky Zone, Bowling, Butternut Creek

Just like the Food Network cooking show, participants will be able to stump our chef instructors with secret ingredients and have the opportunity to assist in the creation of a one-of-a-kind dish.

Campers will come up with an idea to create a comic book working together or individually.

Using a convection oven, we will bake and decorate some tasty treats.

Daily Paper: Summer Place Times
Campers create the Daily Paper with basic journalism skills including interviewing, editing and layout. The paper is distributed daily during lunch time.
DIY Room Design
Using simple materials, you will crate cool items for your room.
Exploring Engineering
Campers will work in groups and use their creativity to accomplish daily challenges.
Flag Football
Are you ready to rumble??? Let's play some Flag Football! (Don Ridall Bowl takes place on Week 6 only.)
Gratitude Workshop
You'll decide as a group what local charity to benefit and work on a fundraising goal.
Gym Games
Campers will play a variety of fun games in the gym.
Harry Potter's World
It's everything Harry Potter! You will play quidditch, make wands, potions, and hats, play trivia and more.
Jewelry for PEACE
Create cool jewelry to raise money for P.E.A.C.E. and its local community centers. You'll display and sell your pieces to other campers and staff as a fundraiser.
Lego® Building
Campers will have a daily building challenge with Legos.
Nail & Hair Design
Learn how to design nails, create cool hair designs, and more.
No Bake Dessert Art
Can you make a spider out of Oreos? A Minion out of Twinkies? Campers will take dessert food and create and decorate to make fun creations.

Ping-Pong
Enjoy this highly popular recreational and competitive sport as you learn how to play table tennis correctly.
School of Rock - Rock 101 (9:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m.)
We are excited to partner with School of Rock. Campers will go off campus to the School of Rock in Town Square, Fayetteville. All campers will need a waiver filled out prior to the first day of camp. Want to play in a band on stage? Rock 101 music camp is designed for beginners 7-13 years old. No experience necessary! Students will explore their chosen instruments through musical games and activities. Students will work on songs during the week and will culminate a concert at the end of the week for family and friends.

This discount applies to those registering for two blocks of athletic camps from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. in Basketball Camp and Soccer Camp (1.5 hours each) or Tennis Camp (3 hours) in addition to choosing a full day of summer camp this week.
