Mammal Investigations
Description
Saint Mary’s Hall is a haven for regional mammal friends. It’s not uncommon to spot a fox, opossum or raccoon in the early morning hours on campus. Join us for an adventurous week learning all about 5 common local mammals (coyote, fox, raccoon, opossum and skunk). We will investigate these species of wildlife using hands-on materials from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to include skins, skulls, scat, and tracks. At the end of our week, we will make our own track molds of our mammal friends to take home.
