Chefs in Training-Party Time
Description
Every child loves a party! Join Suzy Brooks and learn the art of crafting and cooking special party snacks and treats with shortcuts that make students successful party planners. Budding chefs will make simple yet delicious appetizers and party foods using familiar ingredients and techniques they can replicate at home. Included in this culinary lineup, students will learn how to perfectly season the meat for tiny taco cup appetizers, create yummy fruit hand pies, mini calzones and more. Kitchen safety and cleanliness will be taught, including how not to share germs, as that is equally important to the fun aspects of cooking. Campers prepare their own portion from start to finish and consume the food they alone have touched. Items are labeled on baking sheets, and all serve ware is disposable
