Artful Acrylic Techniques
Description
Art teacher Suzy Brooks will guide young artists with a broad spectrum of multimedia to create amazing projects. Different types of paints, brushes and surfaces will be utilized. Acrylics on canvas and surfaces of different types and sizes will be the focus of this camp. Students will be exposed to cultural and historical artistic styles, learn to fill the entire canvas space and use warm and cool color theory to create one-of-a-kind masterpieces. They will compose, draw, and render their own artwork while following teacher instructions for application. Using the techniques they learn in this class and their own creativity; the finished product will be catapulted to a whole new level!
