Wild Watercolor Techniques
Description
Campers join Suzy Brooks for a creative week of art using watercolor paints. These are not your basic "school supply" watercolors but special-order paints whose vibrant hues make works of art pop off the page! Students will learn several different techniques to create cool special effects with watercolors. Wax resist, wet-in-wet blending, wet wash, and salt effect are some of the terms that will be learned. Artists will compose and draw each artwork before rendering with watercolor so each resulting piece of art will be worthy of framing!
