Alumni Camping Trip
Description
We welcome you to join us for our first official Camp Newaygo Alumni Camping Trip to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore for those ages 21 and up! We're excited to offer this small group experience with a bit of a "glamping" twist. We'll be camping in tents at Twelvemile Beach Campground for three nights, no hauling a heavy backpack along the trail necessary.

Each day we'll be cooking 1-2 meals over a campfire and enjoying one meal out at a local restaurant. We'll be paddling out onto Lake Superior enjoying a 3 hour tandem kayak tour covering roughly 5 miles of shoreline. We'll be doing some smaller day hikes ranging from 3-5 miles round trip to see notable landmarks, waterfalls, and beaches. While this trip is a little more laid back, we will be physically active each day with some activities being more strenuous than others, all in the outdoors.

The registration fee covers travel to/from Pictured Rocks in a 15 passenger van from Camp, all meals (alcohol will not be provided), tour fees, and campsite reservations. An itinerary and packing list will be emailed after registration, prior to the trip.
