Fall Flora Walk
Description
Fall Flora at the Farm and Forest

Please join Jeff for a Fall Plant ID Nature walk. We’ll begin around the farm and then make our way up to Whipple Hill. We’ll focus on basic identification characteristics primarily looking at native species, including a plant Native Americans used to supposedly cure “craziness” as well as one they used to wash their hands, a few best identified using our noses, several that are edible and medicinal along with a few non-natives. And we’ll discuss specifics on native vs. non-native.

This walk is ideal for those who’ve not attended a Plant ID walk before but ALL are welcome. This walk takes place entirely outdoors, so please plan accordingly.
