Refunds & Cancellation Terms
In short: balances are fully refundable 30+ days prior to your camp start date.

Details:


A non-refundable deposit is required at registration ($25-50, depending on the program).
  • This fee covers the administrative cost of registration

The remaining balance is subject to our refund policy:
The balance is fully refundable 30+ days before your camp begins.
  • Cancel for any reason more than one month before your camp for a full balance refund.

You’ll receive a half refund for cancellations 7-30 days before your camp begins.
  • Cancel for any reason less than one month, and more than one week before camp to receive a refund of half of the balance.

No refunds are given for cancellations less than 7 days before your camp begins.
  • Cancellations for any reason less than one week before camp: no refund.

  • This includes cancellation for illness or injury, making the City Swim Meet, getting a waitlist space at another camp, etc..



Please note:
Registration is not transferable to another person.
Registration may be moved/changed using the cancellation deadlines above.

  • Make sure that you’re registered for the right camp and dates

  • You can meet at 8:30 am and 3:00 pm

  • Your friends have registered for the correct camp, and your friend group is 4 or less


We proceed with camp in most weather (See FAQs)

Dismissal / Withdrawal from Camp:

  • ANY participant dismissed for conduct, or who withdraws from camp voluntarily, for any reason, will not receive a refund.


Illness or Injury

  • Please stay home if your camper has symptoms of respiratory or gastrointestinal infections, such as cough, fever, sore throat, vomiting, or diarrhea

    • Any camper or staff who develops these symptoms must leave camp and may return 24 hours fever- and symptom-free without medication

    • Anyone who tests positive for COVID-19 must isolate (cannot attend camp) for 5 days, and must wear a mask for 10 days.



  • No refunds for missed days due to sickness or injury, even if the exposure is at Famous Adventures



If camp is canceled or a registration is declined:

  • Campers bringing medication to camp, or who have physical or behavioral needs, must be pre-screened before applying, by contacting camp. More Info

  • Famous Adventures reserves the right to decline a registration for any reason before camp begins. Payment will be refunded in full.

  • If Famous Adventures cancels a camp before the start date, registrants will receive a full refund, including registration fees. Participants will be offered pro-rated refunds for partial closures during a camp.
